The 2014 installation of officers for SW Hackett Lodge was again a fun and professionally event. You've seen the pictures of the officers that were installed, now for some pictures of the celebration.
The current Master and the installing team arrives
Worshipful Tony McGill, PM, installing Chaplain offers the invocation.
Wor. "JR" Knight, PM, outgoing Master, opens with his remarks
The Al Bahr Shriners Legion of Honor present the flag of the United States for the Pledge
Worshipful Michael Allen, PM, the emcee is ready.
Therefore....Worshipful Haslim, PM, Installing Officer, gets the event started.
All the other officers have been installed and only the Master remains.
But....
Before that happened, Worshipful Ken McMillen, PM, played and sang the
musical interlude, "I Dreamed a Dream", from Les Miserables, and he did
a wonderful job.
The Master elect is instructed as to his duties in the East.

The emcee makes proclamation and the Officers are installed.
The Master discusses
plans for the coming Masonic year.
The Master receives the gift of his gavel from the First Lady.
A bouquet for, and a kiss from the First Lady!
Gifts for the very special ladies that are always ready to help.
The Officers retire with their ladies.
The receiving line on the way to the refreshments.
There was a great buffet lunch.
Just what would an installation be without a pig in attendance? I mean..really....what would it be??
...and of course, the best thing...For the past two years, I have been able to make fun of the cake, but this year....... I can't find a way to do that. It looked and tasted great!
